The Toronto Maple Leafs are now elimanated from the playoffs and the New York Islanders have secured the last playoff spot in the eastern conference. Also the Colorado Avalanche have been elimated from the playoffs in the western conference since the Calgary Flames beat the Edmonton Oliers 3-2 last night.

The Toronto maple leafs won, beating montreal so Montreal is now elimated but that doesn't mean that Toronto is in the playoffs necessarily. If the New York Islanders win against the New Jersey Devils (Currently in 2nd) then they will be in the playoffs. But as long as NYI loses in either Regulation or Ot/shootout then the leafs are in. Whoever is in either New York Islanders or Toronto Maple Leafs will vs The Buffalo Sabres in the first round. Also The Calgary Flames has not yet clinched the last playoff spot in the Western conference either they vs Colorado Tommorow heres how it looks
